#Create Tomorrow is an amazing impact-based campaign launched by Liberty Midlands Mall’s co-owners Liberty Two Degrees (L2D). This campaign has been launched across L2D’s nationwide retail portfolio as a way to bring about human action and conversation, while giving hope and showing empathy to those most affected during these uncertain times. The campaign focuses on upliftment for all, and especially those in need.
This initiative has certainly assisted various organizations to fulfill their mission. In 2020, Liberty Midlands Mall chose to partner with Community Chest as they share the same values and ethics of creating a better tomorrow for all.
This partnership comes in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Community Chest, and making a bigger difference to thousands of individuals. Community Chest is most grateful to Liberty Midlands Mall for affording them this opportunity, especially in this pandemic season that has infected and affected thousands of livelihoods due to Covid-19.
With the increased number of cases, and the peak of the pandemic, devastation of hunger and desperation within thousands of vulnerable families becomes an everyday reality. As the need for food security escalates, the Community Chest continues to receive requests not only for food, but for medication, bread, blankets, infant baby requirements and many other household items, too.
As the saying goes “Charity begins at Home”. Community Chest is humbled by Liberty Midlands Mall for affording them a store next to GAME to be used as the drop off point for food and non-perishable item donations. The store is open on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday between 10am – 4pm. Our friendly volunteers will gladly receive your donations in cash or kind.

It’s impossible to see what the future will bring, but when focused on one shared goal of community upliftment, we can be sure that we are helping to #CreateTomorrow as a collective for those who need it most.
